Pixie Dust Nannies Policies
1. Scheduling Policy
When you book with Pixie Dust Nannies, the selected date(s) and time(s) are exclusively
reserved for you and your family.
• You are responsible for the full duration of your scheduled booking, even if you do not
use all of the reserved hours.
• In the event of a late arrival, the full scheduled time slot will still be charged.
• Our nannies reserve this time specifically for your family, and we kindly ask for your
understanding and adherence to the scheduled hours.
2. Deposit
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation.
• The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 30 days or more prior to the scheduled
date(s).
• Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance are non-refundable.
3. Remaining Balance
• The remaining balance will be automatically charged to your credit card 7 days prior to
the scheduled booking date(s).
• If you wish to use an alternative payment method, please contact us before the 7-day
window begins.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change. You may cancel your booking with a full refund of the
deposit if you notify us 30 days or more before the scheduled date(s).
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the booking date are non-refundable, as the
nanny’s time is exclusively reserved for your family.
• We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
5. Late Policy
• If you require additional time with your Pixie Dust Nanny on the day of the booking,
please notify your nanny at the start of the service. If the nanny is available, the
additional time will be billed accordingly.
• Should you be more than 10 minutes late in returning, an additional hour will be
automatically added and charged to your account.
• We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide exceptional care to every
family.
6. Parking Policy
• If your hotel requires paid parking, your Pixie Dust Nanny will provide a receipt for the
parking fee. We will then send a reimbursement request for the completed process.
• In the event that your hotel offers reduced parking rates, you may choose to add your
nanny to your room reservation. Please notify us in advance, and we will gladly assist
with this coordination.
7. Holiday Pricing Policy
• A holiday surcharge of $20 per hour will apply for bookings on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
• We deeply appreciate our nannies for their dedication to ensuring your family enjoys a
magical experience, even on holidays.
8. Tipping Policy
While tipping is not required, it is greatly appreciated for the care and attention provided by your
Pixie Dust Nanny.
• Tips may be given in cash directly or via electronic payment methods (e.g., Venmo, Cash
App). Please ask your nanny for her preferred payment method if you wish to leave a tip.
9. Inclement Weather Policy
The safety of your child and our nannies is our primary concern. In the event of inclement
weather, your Pixie Dust Nanny may need to cancel or shorten the service for safety reasons.
• If such circumstances arise, the nanny will promptly contact you to arrange a safe and
timely pickup.
• Please note that because the nanny’s time has been reserved exclusively for your family,
the full-service fee will still apply, even in the case of weather-related cancellations.
10. Sickness Policy
To ensure the health and safety of all children and nannies, we request that you cancel your
booking if your child exhibits any of the following symptoms:
• Fever
• Contagious illnesses (e.g., pink eye, flu, COVID-19)
• Continuous vomiting
• If your child becomes ill during the course of the booking, the Pixie Dust Nanny reserves
the right to end the service early and request that you return to care for your child.
• Please note that due to the exclusive nature of the reservation, no refunds will be issued
for cancellations related to illness, as the nanny’s time cannot be rebooked.
• If your nanny is unable to provide service due to illness, we will make every effort to
send a qualified replacement. If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, you will
receive a full refund for the affected booking(s).
11. Photo & Social Media Policy
At Pixie Dust Nannies, we cherish capturing magical moments. However, we prioritize your
family’s privacy and comfort.
• We may occasionally request permission to take photographs of your child during their
time with their Pixie Dust Nanny, which may be used for promotional purposes on our
website or social media platforms.
• Please be assured that:
o We will never take or share photographs of your child without your explicit,
written consent.
o You have the option to decline photo permissions at any time, and your decision
will be fully respected.
o If you grant consent, you may revoke it at any time, and we will promptly remove
any shared content upon request.
o No personally identifiable information (such as names or locations) will be
included in any shared photographs.
We value your trust and commit to respecting your family’s privacy.
12. Special Needs Policy
Pixie Dust Nannies believes every child deserves magical, compassionate care, including those
with special needs. To provide the best experience possible, we kindly request that families share
relevant details about their child’s specific needs at the time of booking. This may include:
• Medical conditions or physical limitations
• Developmental or cognitive differences
• Behavioral considerations
• Sensory sensitivities
• Communication preferences or assistive devices
• Daily routines, calming techniques, or triggers
Sharing this information ensures that we:
• Match your family with the most suitable nanny
• Prepare for your child’s unique needs
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of your child
Please note that while our nannies are experienced, not all are trained in advanced medical or
behavioral care. Should your child require specialized care, we will make every effort to assign a
nanny trained in those areas. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will inform you
promptly and with care.
